How to cite Capture.Study in your paper
Journals and reviewers expect you to name the system you used to collect and manage study data. Pick the parts of Capture.Study your study used, check the access date, and copy the text you need.
1. Methods section
Data capture is always included. Add anything else your study ran in Capture.Study.
Data collection sentence
Study data were collected and managed using Capture.Study (https://capture.study), a web-based electronic data capture (EDC) platform.
Data integrity sentence (optional)
If the journal or your ethics committee asks how data integrity was protected.
Capture.Study records a field-level audit trail of every data entry and change (timestamp, user, previous value, new value and reason for change), with role-based access control and electronic signatures aligned with 21 CFR Part 11.
2. Reference list
Capture.Study is updated continuously and has no version numbers, so cite the date you used or last accessed it.
