Set up the visit schedule
Open Schedule and click Add First Visit (or the + at the end of the day row). Give the visit a name and study day, choose its epoch, type and anchor, set the window and click Add Event. Then tick which forms belong to each visit.
Where to find it
Schedule (left menu)
Before you start
- You can edit the schedule: Study Owner, Study Manager or Administrator. Everyone else sees a Read-only badge.
Read the schedule
The Matrix view shows visits as columns and forms as rows, grouped into site assessments, participant-reported forms and ongoing logs. Switch to List for a timeline, and between Days and Weeks. Hover over a visit to see its forms, day and window. The lightbulb shows optional Schedule suggestions; nothing there blocks your study.
Add a visit
Click Add First Visit, or the + at the end of the day row.
Fill Event Name and Study Day (negative before enrollment, Day 0 is enrollment), and optionally a Short Name and Visit number.
Choose the Epoch (screening, treatment, follow-up or unscheduled) and whether the visit is before or after randomization.
Choose the Event Type (for example clinic visit, home task or safety follow-up) and Visit Location.
Set the Completion Window: days before and after the target day (visit windows).
Under Anchor & window, choose what the visit counts from: nothing, the screening date, a milestone such as randomization, an earlier visit, a fixed study day, or a date in a form.
Click Add Event.
You see "Visit added". An Unscheduled column is added automatically at the end.
Edit, repeat or delete a visit
- Click a visit's day cell to open Edit Event. Advanced Settings has visit groups, time of day, window enforcement, recurring visits and visit prerequisites.
- Right-click the visit name for Edit Event or Delete Event. Deleting cannot be undone.
- Click Lock at the top to protect the schedule from accidental changes, and Locked to unlock it.
On a live study, every schedule change asks for a reason and your signature, and existing participants get the new or changed tasks.
Questions
Can AI build the schedule from my protocol?
Yes. Building a study from your protocol reads the Schedule of Assessments and creates the visits for you to review here.
