Set up unscheduled visits and ongoing logs
Tick forms in the Unscheduled column of the schedule: those are the forms sites get when they add an unscheduled visit. Logs such as adverse events and concomitant medications are set up in Settings > General > Log Forms and are available throughout the study.
Before you start
- You can edit the schedule: Study Owner, Study Manager or Administrator. Everyone else sees a Read-only badge.
Forms for unscheduled visits
The schedule always ends with an Unscheduled (UV) column. Tick the forms sites should complete at an unscheduled visit, such as vital signs or a symptom check. Sites then add the visit from the participant's page (add an unscheduled visit).
Ongoing logs
In Settings > General > Log Forms, choose the forms that can be added at any time: adverse events, adverse events of special interest, device deficiencies, concomitant medications, protocol deviations, medical history and your own. They appear on the schedule as "Ongoing throughout study". You can also require medications to be linked to a medical history entry or an adverse event.
Participant questionnaires can also be made available on demand: set an Availability Window on the row's bar to say from which visit to which visit they can be submitted.
