Ask to leave a study or delete your data
You can stop taking part at any time, without giving up any medical care. If your study allows it, open your portal Settings, go to My Rights and choose Request Study Withdrawal or Request Data Deletion. You can always tell your study team directly instead.
Where to find it
Portal > Settings > My Rights
Send a request
Open your portal and tap Settings.
Under My Rights, press Request next to Request Study Withdrawal or Request Data Deletion.
Write a short reason and press Submit Request.
You see that your request was submitted. The investigator reviews it, which may take a few days.
Withdrawing stops your study activities; the data collected so far is usually kept for safety reasons. A deletion request asks for your personal data to be erased and cannot be undone once approved. If you do not see My Rights, contact your study team: they can do this for you.
