Load the unblinded kit list
An unblinded administrator or statistician opens Inventory > Import Unblinded List, chooses the CSV or Excel file with kit numbers and treatment codes, and clicks Load medication list. The kits go into the depot pool, ready to ship.
Where to find it
Inventory > Import Unblinded List
Before you start
- The Inventory & IMP Management module is switched on (switch modules on or off).
- You are an Unblinded Administrator or Unblinded Statistician. Blinded roles, including the Study Owner, cannot load the list.
- Work from an unblinded workstation, away from blinded colleagues.
Load the list
Open Inventory and click Import Unblinded List.
Optionally click Download medication list template to start from the right columns.
Required columns: kit_number and arm_code. Optional: lot_number, expiry_date and storage_condition.
Click Choose file and pick your .csv, .xlsx or .xls file.
Click Load medication list.
You see how many kits were loaded. The summary shows totals only, never a count per arm.
What happens next
The kits wait in the depot pool. Next, set the supply settings and create a shipment to each activated site. Blinded team members only ever see kit numbers, never the treatment arm (what blinding hides).
