Open Inventory > Shipments, find the shipment under In Transit, click Receive, tick every kit you physically received and click Submit. Kits you did not tick are quarantined with a reason.

Where to find it

Inventory > Shipments > In Transit > Receive

Before you start

  • The Inventory & IMP Management module is switched on (switch modules on or off).
  • You are assigned to the destination site and your role can handle kits (Pharmacist, Study Coordinator, Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator).

Confirm receipt

  1. Open Inventory and the Shipments tab.

A red badge shows how many shipments are in transit.

  2. Under In Transit, click Receive on the shipment.

  3. Tick every kit that physically arrived in good condition, or select all.

  4. Click Submit.

  5. If you left any kit unticked, choose a Reason (missing, damaged in transit, wrong kit, temperature excursion or other), write a Comment and click Confirm & Quarantine.

You see how many kits are now available and how many are quarantined.

If you cannot receive it

  • "Confirmed by destination site" or "Needs kit custody permission": only staff assigned to the destination site, with a role that handles kits, can confirm receipt. Study-level roles can only view.
  • "Shipment has already been received": someone at your site confirmed it already. Check the Received section.
