Build a form or lab table with AI
In the form editor's Questions tab, click Build with AI. Choose Question form or Lab table, describe it or upload a file (CSV, XLSX, PDF or DOCX, up to 15 MB), click Generate, review the result and click Apply to form.
Where to find it
Form editor > Questions > Build with AI
Before you start
- The form is a draft. Approved forms are changed through a new version.
Generate the form content
Open the draft form and click Build with AI on the Questions tab.
Under What are we building?, choose Question form (questions) or Lab table (analytes as rows, with units and ranges).
Write a Description, or upload a Source file and add Notes for the AI if useful.
Click Generate and wait while the file is read and the content is built.
Review the result. Items marked as needing a look, and unrecognised analytes, deserve extra care.
Under Apply as, choose Add to existing content or Replace everything in this form, then click Apply to form.
What it drafts
- Question forms: question text and type, required, units, decimals, minimum and maximum, and answer options.
- Lab tables: analyte codes, units, low and high reference limits, alert limits, and sex and age strata where the source has them.
