Set your password from a study invitation
Click Set Password & Access Study in the invitation email. Capture emails you a 6-digit code; enter it, then set your full name and password and click Set Password & Continue. The study opens and your invitation is accepted.
Accept the invitation
Open the email "You've been invited to join" your study and click Set Password & Access Study.
The invitation link works for 24 hours.
Capture sends you a second email, "Your Password Reset Code", with a 6-digit code.
The code works for 10 minutes. Check your spam folder if you do not see it.
Type the code on the Enter Verification Code screen and click Verify Code.
On Set Your Password, fill Full Name, Password and Confirm Password.
Your full name is required for the audit trail.
Click Set Password & Continue.
You are signed in, the study appears and your status on the team changes from Pending to Active.
If something goes wrong
- "Verification failed. Please try again.": the code was mistyped, has expired or was replaced by a newer one. Click Resend code and use the newest email.
- "Link Expired": the invitation is older than 24 hours. Enter your email under the message and click Verify & Continue to get a code instead.
- Already have a Capture account? You get "You've been added to" the study instead. Just sign in and the study is there.
- No email at all? Ask the person who invited you to check the address and use Resend Invitation (invite team members).
