Close, archive or delete a study
In Settings > General, use Study Status Controls to close a study and the Archive Study card to archive it with a reason. Archiving makes the study read-only and keeps every record. Only an empty draft can be deleted.
Where to find it
Settings > General > Study Status Controls and Archive Study
Close a study
Click Close Study in Study Status Controls. Closing stops enrollment for good and marks the study as complete; the data stays available for review and export. It takes effect immediately, so make sure the team is ready.
Archive a study
Open Settings > General and scroll to the Archive Study card.
Click Archive study.
Fill Reason for archiving and click Archive Study.
The study becomes read-only and you return to the study list. Archived studies are hidden until you choose Show archived.
Delete an empty draft
Only the study creator or a Study Owner can delete, and only a draft that has never had participants, responses or consent signatures. Click Delete study and confirm. This cannot be undone.
