A tour of study Settings
Open Settings from the left-hand menu. Each tab controls one part of the study, from study details and modules on General to the team, sites, participant portal, emails and integrations. Which tabs you see depends on your role and the study's modules.
Where to find it

Set the participant ID format
Open Settings > General and find Subject ID Format.
Set the Prefix, Separator, Number of digits and Start number, and choose whether to Include site prefix.
Click Save Format.
New participants get IDs in this format. On a live study the change needs a signed reason.
Settings on a live study
Once the study is live, changes to the set-up (for example blinding, the participant ID format or designated forms) ask for a reason and your electronic signature, and some settings lock for good, such as the participant language. See change a live study.
